Key Largo Sailfish Challenge

Underwater Easter Egg Hunt
The Easter bunny hosts this annual underwater egg hunt off Key Largo to benefit Kids in Special Situations, a local charity for needy children.

Key West Old Island Days
The season's events include an art festival, crafts show, conch shell blowing contest and house and garden tours celebrating Key West culture and history.
Annual Florida Keys Seafood Festival – usually held in January
Features delicious fresh seafood, live music and activities for children and families. Admission is free at Bayview Park.
Hot Havana Nights – usually held in March
Succulent cuban food, arts, dancing and the 10 piece-band Havana Sou are featured at the Key West Botanical Garden, 5210 College Road.
Hemingway Days Festival
An annual event for over twenty-five years, celebrates the legendary author’s work and lifestyle. The event comprises literary readings, a short story competition, a museum exhibit, a fishing tournament and the Sloppy Joe’s Look-Alike Contest.
Marathon Events
Annual Pigeon Key Art Festival – usually held in February
Artists and craftspeople are to exhibit their works at Marathon Community Park. The event includes live music and delicious food, and plans call for tours of historic Pigeon Key, a tiny island where Henry Flagler's railroad workers once lived.
Annual Original Marathon Seafood Festival
Gourmet delicacies from the waters of the Florida Keys highlight this annual event at Marathon Community Park.
Annual Seven Mile Bridge Run – usually held in April
An estimated field of 1,500 runners are to participate in the annual foot race across the longest segmental bridge in the world.

Islamorada Village of Islands, Independence Day Celebration
Families enjoy a playground and activities for kids such as a bounce house, clowns and beach area before the fireworks at dusk. The festivities take place at Founders Park, mile marker 87, bayside on U.S. 1.
Big Pine & The Lower Keys
Annual Underwater Music Festival
For over twenty years, this quirky concert broadcast underwater for divers, snorkelers and the occasional mermaid emphasizes reef preservation. The submerged songfest is held at Looe Key Reef in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.
